What you get

Hiking in Hermannes

Hermanes is located at the northern corner of Unst, the northernmost island of Shetland, and is also the walking point to observe the most northerly lighthouse in the UK. Most seabirds return in March and April. If you visit in spring, you will see gulls, gannets, puffins, and kittiwakes.

Saw them outside the aquarium!

One of the most amazing ways to experience the Shetland Islands is from the sea. Explore cliff-side seabird colonies, secluded beaches, and if you’re lucky, spot orcas and minke whales, dolphins and other magnificent marine mammals! (Whale watching is at your own expense)

There is nothing more romantic than watching the Northern Lights.

Because the Shetland Islands are closer to the Arctic Circle than any other place in the UK and have a sparse population, they have the cleanest night sky in the UK. They are also the northernmost aurora observation site in the UK, and March and April are the last aurora observation windows.

Oh! Pony!

Shetland's world-famous ponies can be seen all over the island, grazing by the roadside, on the beach or on the heather-covered hills. The short, docile little ponies are easy to get away with, just by pulling a handful of grass from the roadside!

The Northernmost Territory

The absolute end of all roads in the UK, it has it all in the northernmost point. It is also one of the most spectacular, diverse and interesting islands in Europe. It has a diverse biota, whales and beautiful birds.

Sumburgh Lighthouse

The sea will always show you the way

Sumburgh Lighthouse is the southernmost lighthouse in the Shetland Islands, and is located in the distance from the Scottish mainland. It is also the oldest lighthouse in Shetland. It was built by Robert Stevenson in 1821.

The Shetland Islands have a variety of excellent beaches and stunning coastal cliffs.

There's the Issanes coastline, perched on the edge of mythical volcanic cliffs. There's the most northerly lighthouse in the UK, there's the Lewick beach, where seals sleep. In general, Shetland encompasses most of what Scotland has, and what it doesn't.

St. Ninian Beach

There is a beach that connects St Ninian's Island to Shetland. From above, its symmetrical, curved form is particularly striking. The beach is flooded at high tide, but for most of the year, the sand is dry.

If we don't reach here, where can we point out the drunken sunset? On the cheek of the one we love? Where can we wait for the chirping of the Atlantic puffins returning to their nests? In the heart of the Palaeocene fossils?

Shetland is a dream that is infinitely prolonged and quickly dissipated. Pictures, poems, music, all expressions, begin to collapse from the second they leave the island, and Shetland itself can no longer be restored.

Crystal , Glasgow

I won't use the word "tourism" to describe any of my trips, let alone my trip to Shetland. It seems that traveling is more appropriate. A car, a backpack, a group of people laughing along the way. You can take a nap in the car when you are tired, and the glass in the car will take the scenery into your heart.

Planks, Manchester

The trip to Shetland ended successfully. Time never stops for anyone.

Joren said he always felt like he was still at sea. The lord in the wind and waves asked if the boat was flying. The landlord in the SUV pointed to the sign and said: read it. Jason was still digging in the sand under the car. Shetland was like a dream that he didn't want to wake up from, as beautiful and flawless as the sunrise.

Coco

Very original, super satisfying trip. The biggest difference from other tours is that they have a driver and a professional tour guide. The price is moderate and not perfunctory, that's enough.

Wmg

Come on! Shetland deserves it!

Joyaa

Aurora and starry sky! We were playing games in the big house of the B&B when we suddenly had an emergency meeting. The tour guide turned into an aurora hunter and took us straight to the observation point. We finally saw the aurora!
